DbEnv.set_rep_limit

APIRef

import com.sleepycat.db.*;

public class DbEnv { public int set_rep_limit(int gbytes, int bytes) throws DbException; ... }

Description

The DbEnv.set_rep_limit method imposes a limit on the amount of data that will be transmitted from a site during the course of a single call to DbEnv.rep_process_message method.

The gbytes and bytes parameters together represent the maximum number of bytes that can be sent during a single call to DbEnv.rep_process_message method.

The DbEnv.set_rep_limit method configures a database environment, not only operations performed using the specified DbEnv handle.

The DbEnv.set_rep_limit interface may be called at any time during the life of the application.

The DbEnv.set_rep_limit method throws an exception that encapsulates a non-zero error value on failure.

Errors

The DbEnv.set_rep_limit method may fail and throw an exception for errors specified for other Berkeley DB and C library or system methods. If a catastrophic error has occurred, the DbEnv.set_rep_limit method may fail and throw a DbRunRecoveryException, in which case all subsequent Berkeley DB calls will fail in the same way.
