INTRODUCTION

ROTGEN, in general, makes use of the set of laboratory axes as used by the MOSFLM suite of programs.

However this does not mean, for example, that the rotation axis need necessarily be along the direction shown as 'Z' as one of the keyworded parameters enables the direction of the rotation axis to be specified as a vector with respect to the laboratory axes. Similarly, the detector plane need not necessarily be normal to the 'X' axis.
